IDFC2023 Main Conference Held
1/21 Osaka, 1/22 Tokyo. Thank you to our speakers and all participants.
The theme for the main conference chosen by us, the IDFC2023 executive committee, is
We want participants to learn about Myanmar’s current situation, the problems it faces, and the relationship between Japan and Myanmar,
And, through that process, they wanted us to consider what actions we could take in the future for ourselves, Japan, and Myanmar.
The conference was a very fruitful and meaningful two days: we heard academic talks by university professors, learned about the convictions of people at organizations actively supporting Myanmar, and discussed the relationship between Japan and Myanmar in 2030.
For now, this is just a brief update.
We will report the details of our activities soon.
Finally, on behalf of the entire committee, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make the main conference possible.
